Harmony Gold Bursary 2027

Harmony Gold Mining Company is offering full-time bursaries for students who want to pursue tertiary studies in fields that support the company’s mining operations.

The bursary programme supports students from communities around Harmony’s mining operations, with opportunities available in core, mining-related and other disciplines depending on the company’s annual requirements.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

• Be between 18 and 35 years old

• Be a South African citizen

• Have a valid South African ID

• Have a National Senior Certificate (Matric)

• Have achieved at least 60% in all subjects

• Be studying or planning to study full-time

• Submit a brief CV of no more than 3 pages

• Engineering Students

• Students planning to study Engineering must have achieved at least:

• 70% Mathematics

• 70% Physical Science

Current tertiary students must have an average of 60% or higher in their major subjects.

Fields of Study

The bursary supports core and critical fields, mining-related disciplines and selected other fields, depending on Harmony’s business requirements for the year.
